Donation Session Day
The studio will be set up in the park on October 13th to give our Donation Sessions a boost. All you have to do is show up and donate the $25 to the charity you pick off the list and ASIT Photography will give you a FREE 8x10! Simple as that! I am still working on times and a rain date so check back!!

Closing For The Fair
...the studio will be closed until a few days after the Ross County Fair - I will try to keep up on emails and phone calls...we are working on the booth and hope to see you out there! Trying to think of what to do for a raffle and getting few last pics together for display...busy, busy :)

Upcoming Studio Closings
...the studio will be closed until July 16, 2012...I will be at the races at 35 Raceway Park but other that will be closed...I didn't realize how fast time was going by - I always shut down this time of year so I have a week to make preps for my little girls birthday! She will be 6 (crazy how fast she is growing up). The studio will also be closed from July 25th to August 15th so the studio has plenty of time to work on it's fair booth for the Ross County Fair and a few days to recover from it :)

TSOD Dance Pictures Are DONE!!
I have just dropped off the last pictures to Staci at the dance studio and they should be passed out at your normal classes. Please let me know if I have missed something. I do have a small list of items that need to be ordered because I made a boo-boo :) I should have put a note on your invoice to let you know if something was missing or needed reordered. Thanks everyone for a GREAT year this year! Let me know if you have questions! I will be sending out any corrections as soon as they are to the studio :)

TSOD Dance Pictures
If you are having your pictures taken by ASIT Photography this year at Transitions School of Dance this post is for you!! :)
To hopefully make things a little easier this year we are going to offer you the chance to do pre-orderes. Basically you order what you want just as you would the day of pictures but you can do it before you get there! No standing in line at the order table and no problem asking questions!

Upcoming Studio Closures
You may notice when you try to book an appointment that there is a big chunk of April marked as unavailable. As much as I hate to completely close down, we will be set up off site at a local dance school doing pictures and will be unable to make any appointments for this time. Sorry for any inconvenience!
You may also notice that Saturdays are also unavailable starting April 7th. It will continue this way till sometime in October to allow the studio to do pictures at the 35 Raceway. We are open most evenings thru the week and Sundays (although they book up quick!).

Easter Sessions
...a few people have asked about doing pictures with bunnies and baby chicks - I just want to put this out there so people know where I am coming from...I don't feel good about using baby/small animals in a setting with very small children who don't realize how fragile the babies can be - it is not worth possibly harming an animal just to make a few bucks...I have heard other photographers talk about "mishaps" with the baby animals in which they have been injured or worse...so as it stands the studio will not be doing Easter pictures with bunnies or ducklings or any other small baby animal...it may cost me a few sessions but at least I can sleep at night knowing that my actions did not cause the harm of another living creature.

What Our New Pricing Structure Really Means
A lot of people are starting to notice our new pricing structure. I just wanted to take a minute to explain what it really means...
One major thing is that you are no longer wasting (yes, I said wasting) your money on a session fee. Although it seems like you are paying a session fee you are actually only making a deposit to credit that you will be spending on pictures.
Another is the ability for me to schedule and keep sessions on a time frame. It has never failed in the past. I take pictures and do the editing but the orders don't get placed for months and months. Now everyone will have a set schedule and there will be no more rush times at the studio. Let's face it - pictures are wonderful but sometimes your busy life takes priority. I get that. This should be good for everyone to make your precious pictures a priority along with everything else - sometimes we just need a push to do so. :)
Our prices on individual items hasn't changed much. There might be some changes to the items that we offer such as our set of 4 wallets has gone up to sets of 8 - that change do to photo lab junk that doesn't really matter to you - what does matter is that a set of 8 wallets just got a little cheaper :)
We don't hold anyone to packages. Some people are just 8x10 people but some people want more 8x10's than they do wallets so we let you take your money (the 1/3 installments made) and use it toward any items the studio offers.
I hope this clears things up a bit :)
